My kids love this site. They have tried several of the recipes and they turned out great. They made dinner for the first time by themselves this weekend for their grandparents. Keep the recipes coming!

Hi Maya

As a Singaporean living in the UK, I too have been exposed to different types of cuisine. And as a Singaporean – my favourite hobby is eating! So it comes as no surprise that cooking is also a favourite past time of mine. I did not learn to cook till I was in my late teens in University, and this is the case with many of my friends. As you say in your instructional video – there should always be parental supervision – and teaching kids how to cook is a great way for parents to spend quality time with their children as well too. Nutrition is such a big issue these days and here in the UK, Jamie Oliver can be seen running around in school kitchens trying to make school dinners healthier. I hear he is also trying to get school children to cook in an effort to teach/communicate the value of healthy eating. However, the experience becomes so much more personal when children can learn the value of nutrition by learning to cook with someone from their own peer group. This is what I feel is most appealing about what you are trying to achieve. If you can cook, so can they! There is nothing like having a hands-on experience with the food items that make up your breakfast, lunch and dinner. Being able to see, touch and smell what we add to our meals may make us feel differently about the food we consume – and this is the case for adults and children alike. Nonetheless, cooking is a great life-skill to have and ensures you never have to be hungry!

Best regards
Melissa Lim

You are were such a pleasure to meet and chat with yesterday at Dr. Welch's office. I've looked up the egg dish we spoke about and plan to make it this weekend. Your website is unbelievably brilliant, as you are too! I'm looking forward to reading the whole entire website. See you at your next ortho visit.
